Shreddi - I hope you don't think this guy is using sign language! The clip is hilarious, but I am a sign language interpreter and without the song in the background it makes no sense. No Deaf person would ever understand what the song was about other than a guy masturbating and then catching a fish before he is robbed. Hilarious clip though, very talented guy... just not "beautiful"!

Obviously the guy is not using real sign language worldterp2b. This is one of the most hilarious videos I have ever seen. I must have viewed it over a hundred times since it was sent to me. It makes me laugh just as much every time. He is truly talented and creative. would love to see his other material.

This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Anyone with half a brain knows it's not real sign language...it's just frickin hilarious. I would love to see him do more of this kind of thing.

yeah, this is one of the best skits I have ever seen. He is one of the "Hollow Men", it was on comedy central for a bit, but haven't seen it on, in a long time. TiVo hasn't picked it up for me either. Here is a nother skit with this guy in it:
Antiques Road Show Meets Fake Boobs

I think that this is a great use of humor and the person who is performing this has a great talent for what he is doing
    Thanks for the entertainment

    Hi all.

To kazzaman > The sign for "man" is 'open your hand and look at your palm, take your thumb touch your forehead then down to your chest'

just like worldterp2b I'm also a sign-language intrepreter and teacher. Its nothing more than a mime-dance. I think the an actual "sign" that was correct was the #4. This guy has some great talent.
    Cheers!

Hey stoo-pids, the guy is a comedian, and he's doing it to make people laugh, so he came up with signs that match what he is trying to say and make it funny. OBVIOUSLY not real sign languange. Any moron could figure that one out.

You guys are sitting here pretending to be intelectuals and stating that he's using the wrong signs --- DUHHHHHHHH

My ex-wife is deaf, she laughed so hard she almost wet her pants.

You need to take your thumb off the end once in a while.

I love this clip. I watch it every day. I passed it on to my fiance and he watches it every day for a good laugh. I wish there was more of it. I saw his other video with the singer on HBO comedy video and it was great also. You have good stuff here.

The comedian's name is David Armand and he's from the UK. The character he plays when he's doing his song interpretations is Johann Lippowitz.

To all the interpreters that commented: to the best of my knowledge, gesture and mime is a large part of any sign language. David just took it to the hilarious extreme.

I agree with Toad. I have a good friend that is Deaf and she thinks David is a genius. She laughed so hard that she too, almost wet her pants. Plus: I think a Deaf person is more of an expert on visual communication than an interpreter anyway.

Wow, It wasn't all that. It would have been great if he was using real sign language. Any one can make a bunch of made up gestures to interpret lyrics of a song. I just don't think it's all that some of you's cracked it up to be. Wow, there are so much funnier things out there than this.

Wow, I just watched it again to see if it was any better the second time 'round. Nope still stupid. I'm wondering if I'm watching the same video it's actually not funny at all. You wanna see sum thin funny. go to this you tube site and see Richard Simmons guest star on who's line is it anyways. Now that's what I call funny. >>>>>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUZuV0xce3A
